Good afternoon, It feels like a long time since I've been on. Maybe for 6 weeks. But moved, finally got internet and should be back in the swing of things soon. Is there anything worth noting today?

Or when "running a panda" meant actually opening a link in a new tab and running an auto-refresh script/extension on it. Ugh, I certainly don't miss having to constantly manage refresh timers on multiple tabs to try to avoid PREs.

Thanks, I just requested 4 of them so I will see how it goes. I didn't know that they are rare to get through the buttons. I don't have much experience using them.

doesn't hurt to click the qual button, IMHO. Worst case is you don't get it, best case is you get it.

I think it's rare through requests because the requesters want to reward those who did some of their tasks satisfactorily to earn it and not just give it away to anyone who simply requests it which might invite poorer work quality.

and @PandaThief, no probs about taking HIt Forker instead of Hit Finder. Glad I'm not going nuts.

who are you? a sister I didn't know my dad fathered? Sounds like something my dad (a retired electrical engineer) would suggest to me.

Hard to convince him new school is usually better (wireless makes things portable). Reminds me I have to teach him how to use the navigation in his new old fart Lincoln MKS. I set up the nav for his trip to Walla Walla washington for a wedding of my cousin's child. He told me he didn't use it coming back because he didn't know how to change the destination. Also says he can hardly hear the voice prompts and I'm guessing he didn't consult the manual to figure out how to fix that so I'll have to do that too.

I went ahead and bought a baby monitor - $18 dlvd. Probably cheaper than buying a few hundred feet of 2 conductor stranded wire and the connectors to go on it. Hookup wire and connectors seem very expensive nowdays compared to when I used to buy them as a teen or younger adult.

Baby Monitor may have a secondary use in a few years - it appears many people also buy them to help take care of their aging loved ones. Dad's 76 in August so I'm probably going to have a bigger role in helping him soon.

My dad was a marine engineer, originally a Coast Guard Chief Engineer. He could fix/make anything. And did. I used to call him''magic fingers'' 'cause he could make anything run. I was his only child. He thought that I should know how to take care of myself. And he taught me how to repair things. My mom taught me how to shoot a gun. She had a different idea of ''take care''.

So when requesters see a worker requesting a qualification, they can't see the worker's stats at that point?

When you search for qualification hits, do you just search hits for keyword qualification? Probably a dumb question!
