I can't decide if we're weird, lazy, complicated, or gross.

CJ: a vegan buffalo chickn sandwich

The boy: FOUR freakin' chili cheese dogs

The toddler: a breakfast sandwich, some cheese, and avocado

Me: whatever the toddler had left on her plate
Have a family and all of this seems pretty normal to me, except for the CJ part.

You can't even taste the difference.
These things are great in the air fryer.

my college boyfriend would get the non buffalo ones and biscuits from the store to make "chikfilabiscuits" lol it was cheaper and easy in his microwave in his dorm. He wasn't even vegetarian, they just worked perfectly for him

So I recently have started trying transitioning into a batch worker but find most days seems pretty grim in terms of "green" hits. Do you batch workers find most of your work coming in the form of closed quals?

A lot yea but you also can't rely on people to review batch HITs.
Many of us view doing so as a crime against nature because it's like throwing money away.

Also some of the best requesters in a given week may only post once and then never again (or at least not for a realllly long time) so no time to even get any reviews.

So after doing that Gershman stock HIT, I don think I've got much left in me for today. I'll just bake up that pizza I made yesterday(I always make two at a time) and crash...maybe the panda god will smile on me and speak to me thru Panda Crazy.
And Pinterest! Get off this health care kick!

My 1.5 year old is driving me to the brink of insanity with this shark family.
Same. Mine is 21 months, and she has a stuffed singing baby shark. She carries it around singing, "doo doo doo doo".

She also likes to sing the going-to-commercial sound the tv makes during hockey, so there's no accounting for taste...

I started to question the healthiness of some of the new generation of vegan burgers after I ate a Beyond Burger, as served at the Honest Burger chain. While eating the burger – which came with guacamole and “pulled” barbecued jackfruit – I was stunned by how close it felt to meat in my mouth, with its rosy pink hue and fragile flesh-like texture. But it felt nothing like meat to my digestive system.
Half an hour after lunch, I started to have griping stomach pains and a horrible junk-food aftertaste. When I looked up the ingredients, it occurred to me that had they not been marketed as quasi-meat I would never have chosen to lunch on “pea protein isolate, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, water, yeast extract, maltodextrin, natural flavours, gum Arabic …”

We need to realize that we are being asked to eat things that were never meant for human consumption in their chemical make up.
