there's an idea. I have a bluetooth wireless speaker. haven't thought of pairing it with the PC until you mentioned it and see if I can mirror the audio through the speaker after pairing. I am concerned about the range (having assumed bluetooth

I did the experiment. Bluetooth speaker and PC combo worked about 20 feet through wood studded walls until the audio quality became so ratty it wasn't usable/reliable so not far enough to the kitchen or the backyard patio where I would use it.

It was a great suggestion, fun experiment and learning lesson about bluetooth on a dead AMT day.
