well this is the worst news i've gotten in all my years as an online worker. On 6/10 I was FORCED to update Windows and started having audio issues. Turns out I had even worse RECORDING issues and I guess I'm out over 200 bucks.

Ouch. That sucks to hear dude. I haven't done any work on UT in close to a month, I did one test that was just a survey about a video game concept, didn't even have to say anything during it, and since then I haven't passed a single screener.

my audio has never worked right since I switched to Win10...it will be fine for a while..but then it just cuts out and won't play but a few minutes...restart audio and it just happens over and over....ludicrous....

its not their fault to be honest. I don't think they should have to pay for tests with distorted audio. I'm mad at windows for forcing me to update, and then having that update screw everything up. I'm using the exact same equipment I've been using for years. Eveything went wrong with that update on June 10th

i'm glad this happened in the middle of the month and not at the end when bills are due.

Same. But wearing headphones doesn't make my audio cut out. I use an external mic for anything recorded on my end.

weird...but in that same vein...if I hook up my tv using the HDMI port to watch a movie it doesn't drop out...

yea, UT definitely needs that. All they check before a test is whether you have recording capabilities, not if the recording is good or not.
