I once in traveling down Muslim myth, read an article about why the burka is worn. In case one hasn't noticed, that desert air makes for very beautiful young women, not so much older, but young women. A lot of myths were created. One might have been that before the mythical fall of the angels, the angels were strangely and alertly attracted to the long, thick gorgeous hair of Middle Eastern women. To keep the angels from seeing the women and being attracted to them and possibly creating little devil heirs, the women adopted the burka head dress to hide their gorgeous hair, not their faces, their hair.

Someone that works with Matt called me honey the FIRST TIME I ever met him, in a bar, after he took a very extended and obvs look down my top (which, he's 6'6" and I'm 4'9", so this is easy to do and I don't care that much, but he was being a shit). I politely asked him not to call me honey please, cause he's not my boyfriend and all that. Matt nodded next to me, cause I'm not a fan of being called honey at all, but defintiely not by a stranger I had never met. He promptly and loudly called me a bitch. He then kept going. And going. I was basically Lady Satan. He's since forgotten he hated me because he's been so drunk every time he's been an idiot to me. He has re-introduced himself to me twice in 8 months.

He's the housemate of Matt's good friend and I've cock blocked this guy every single chance I've had, which is very easy to do cause he tells blatant lies to the chicks he's trying to bone (for instance- he claims he's a design engineer but is a shop guy, and there's nothing wrong with that, but why even lie?!). Matt always nods and says, " As is your right. As is your right."

My tolerance for bullshit is like a 0.
