The survey should take roughly 1.5 hours to complete. At the end of each survey, you will be given a unique code that can be entered in the HIT listing to receive $15 automatically deposited into your Amazon Payment account (within 3 days of completing the survey). In order to be eligible for payment, you must complete the follow-up survey within two weeks of receiving the email from our study team. Your participation is still voluntary and your information will continue to be confidential. This study has been reviewed and received ethics clearance through a Boston University research ethics committee. I am ashamed to admit that when I was younger I leered but I learned a lot over the years. Some people never grow up. Seeing how women in my life dealt with it and how it affected them really opened my eyes. Now I have a 13 year old daughter and have to deal with not only dudes being crude to her but a school district that uses rulers to measure skirt length and gives her detention for a bra strap showing but doesn't do anything about dudes wearing tank tops with cut out arm pits down to their waist. Oh, and they tried to suspend her for dying her hair an 'unnatural' color last year until I threatened to sue the shit out of the district.

I think a lot of people have to see it to really get an idea of what it's like, because it's harder to understand something if it's not affecting you. It's not always easy to put yourself in someone else's shoes (tho, it would be nice if it were easy lol.)
