In my experience, swagbucks isn't going to earn you near as much as mturk can, though it does have a few relatively passive things you can do that slowly add up over a month. Every now and then some low effort options pop up in the discovery section too, particularly some easy games to play. Swagbucks surveys are almost universally garbage though...pays maybe half the rate an mturk survey will, and 95% of the time kicks you out midway for a 1 cent reward.
Yeah if you have a spare phone, those video apps are an easy low effort $15 a month!
