They really like to milk everything they've got for all it's worth. Like do we really need a new Star Wars movie every single year? Substance isn't important because they know people will pay money either way due to nostalgia alone. They do the same with the Marvel stuff, too. Not saying there aren't good movies in that bunch, but much of that stuff really is just filler. They pretty much all follow a very similar formula, so it doesn't require much creativity on their part to get something out the door.They want to make money off nostalgia and without having to come up with new ideas (not saying Disney doesn't have new ideas, their animation studios have been knocking it out of the park) but they can't just re-release the animated versions into theater because most people have them on dvd already, and no one would accept that they needed to update art which was already perfect. So we get this money grab
