Oh, so this is the survey they specifically mailed me about to say I'd be eligible...

I got walking pneumonia when my daughter was about 4 or 5. I made a pot of rice in the rice cooker - added veggies and passed out on the papasan couch while she watched videos. I crawled out to the kitchen and gave her food every once in awhile.

After that, I taught her to cook an egg. By 6 (maybe even 5) she could do that independently. That way, if all else failed (meaning me) - she could make an egg

anyway, I can relate to the single mom thing. Sometimes it was easier being single. But when I got sick......it was so much harder

My kids can cook and such, I taught them young. And my youngest is nine, so it's not like they're tiny.
BUT....my ex is vindictive, psycho, and making my life hell with his momma's money- so he can twist my being passed out on the couch from meds into anything he wants. He's playing the "I found Jesus in prison" card again, and I guess it doesn't matter how many times you go, people you snowball will think you're a saint even though you keep repeating your violent actions.

I try to avoid even baby Benadryl b/c it knocks me out HARD and makes me fuzzy for a couple days. I'm a single parent, so taking a mini-vacation isn't an option, but thank you. Maybe some day I can try that.
