So no joke. I just got back from showing a vacant house. Was walking out of the master bedroom into the hallway and something caught my eye as it skittered across the hallway.

My heart damn near stopped. It ran into another bedroom. It was still an it at this point. I peeked around the doorway unsure of what the hell I was going to see.

An albino looking lizard was running away from me fast. About 8" long. In the deepest part of the house furthest from any doors. I wanted to catch it to take it back outside but my heart was still beating so fast I was afraid to bend over and potentially stroke out.
