TO 2:
Not Available
Description: We will show you videos of people telling stories, and your job is to rate how you think they feel at every moment.
Time: 2 hours
HITs Available: 1
Reward: $3.50
Qualifications: Location is US;
The Requester (paclab) has chosen to prevent you from working on any of this Requester's HITs.
There are a variety of reasons for Requesters to prevent particular Workers from completing their HITs.

I have never done any HITs for this requester
i emailed a requestor a few weeks ago who had used the block to limit people. She advised it was easier than setting a qual. I advised her it would be better to use a qual because this type of block is not meant to be used as a qualifier/screener. I don't think it was the same requestor. You should email.

Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk,

You are receiving this email because a requester has granted you the following qualification:

Qualification: VacationRentalAPI Advanced Research Master Applicant
Requester: VacationrentalAPI
Qualification Value: 100

So does this mean I don't have a 2nd test as some have suggested???

no the "applicant" part is not on the actual qual.

Also (everyone, not just you) what you got wrong is information from the qual test so please don't share it in case they use the same one again. Thanks!
Oops, it didn't occur to me they would use the same one again. My apologies.

It was the absence of the minus sign that was the error, right; not the 4th and 5th place differences in the decimals?

Mine was originally like this and then I got a follow-up email regarding the second test. You should get it soon if you haven't yet :)

Hopefully she will change it. Those hard blocks suck lol.

Dont' bother. That minus sign is important and they are really strict about thwe 100% correct stuff. Just hope for better luck next time.
Plus it says in the instructions that even with the littlest typo, you should just set yourself on fire...

Honestly, couldn't tell you. I just went with what you said in your plea. But if either (or both) were wrong they still woulda said no because they are like really strict because it's really important for what they do.

My auto-fill left out a word- so I let the auto-fill win, as per instructions, even though I felt it was wrong...
so I also get to set myself on fire now.

Yes, the autofill isn't always right (99.9% of the time it is) . I go with what is on the parcel website as the best address.

The minus sign could literally be the difference between the coordinates pointing to California or China, so I'm guessing that was the issue.

I was just following the instructions :(
Even my email says to use the auto-fill answer.
Oh well. Just goes with the rest of my damn week.
