I came back to my bench and it is dark in here. Apparently the operators are done for shutdown and turned of the lights. Fine, pay me to sit in the dark and turk.

I'm just happy that someone else is at work instead of me.

Caught myself a nice easy $10 Intellizoom just a few minutes ago and so I will say the party is over for the day though I hate to give up . . . given the 4th is a Thursday I'm expecting a mTurk desert-scape from then until Monday, July 8.

Honestly, I haven't ever seen a true "dead zone" in this kind of stuff for a couple of years. Even in that Holiday month between mid-December and mid-January there's usually something around.

I used to like mid shift. My current employer doesn't have one.

Graveyard was the worst. It was 7 pm to 7 am, and usually longer than that. I did that nine nights in a row once.

I don't get the $2 or $5 ones anymore since doing the 'test' I noticed. Do the test. Do it when your fresh and alert looking and your hair is combed, you're wearing a shirt with a collar (pants not required), and, you're 'enthusiastic' because they require you to use your webcam. They give you a sample video to watch, watch it. You can leave the Intellizoom Panel dashboard up in a tab so you don't have to depend on email notifications.

That's gross shift. I worked 6am-6pm for years (2-3 days on off) and felt so bad for the 6pm to 6am people.
