Eh. If it's a healthy relationship, this isn't a big thing. I make markedly less than Matt because I rarely work more than half time (now exlcuded cause i'm working way more temporarily) with all my health crap and his salary is better than mine. That's why I dropped my old job that I liked very much to move across the country and it's why I do the bulk of the house stuff. The fact I always pay for the groceries/utilities/animal care/my own bills is totally good with him and he happily pays the rest. 2 sources of income > 1 and it's more about me not being an income suck to him and being able to buy my own shoes/cat food/pay my own medical bills/he probably doesn't even know how to pay the internet bill or how to plan meals for a week so it saves him a ton of time. We're both happy with the way things are, he's not bothered by outearning me substantially, and it's still an equal partnership cause we both contribute and make decisions together.
