You can also say you need to use the pharmacy. Legally, they can't deny you entry if you're using the pharmacy.

You can also get a membership and then return it the same day. I actually did that. Not for the free samples, but because I was price checking and for the things I like to buy the per ounce price wasn't better at Costco.
