Born early 90's as well. My mom watched some Fox News segment where a news anchor went out to the beach and asked "Millennials" random questions about government, etc. Then concluded millennials are ignorant/uneducated because they couldn't answer or didn't know. Now every time my mom talks about me, my "age group" gets thrown into the equation.can we please stop talking about this generational thing? i'm a millennial born in the early 90s. i personally find generalizations like this offensive. how would you like for me to insinuate that because you were born at a certain time, you are a lazy, entitled, easily triggered snowflake who needs a safe space?

Should I ask?Are random parts of you still purple?
yeah, shit gets old REAL quick. people at my workplace are like this. sorry you are old and crusty and ruined the economy for us! how do you like them generalizations?Born early 90's as well. Example: I bought a Reel push mower and my mom joked that the media needed to do a segment on me as a "young Millennial worried about the environment."
It's as if I've been involuntarily defined only by this term that has no correlation with my intelligence or who I am as a person. Granted, I think this has happened with every generation but I've never been a fan of generalizations.

Trial by GTA5 combat. I like it.I propose that this forum adopt a policy to settle all future disagreements in a group private session of Grand Theft Auto 5 online.

Just tell your mom that you wanted a lawnmower that doesn't use gas so you can save up for when you need to put her in the old folks home. Sell it with a deadpan delivery and you will never hear her talk shit about your generation again.Born early 90's as well.
