Not every answer has to directly refer to the link.

They should always try to instill trust in the user so they feel more inclined to click the link, but don't always have to say CLICK THE LINK! They should definitely not encourage anything else, like contacting support or ignoring the email.

I must be missing why people are confused.

This link issue is confusing for these Sites. I don't know if I got rejected because they couldn't see my data or because I didn't use that link in the example. I just said something like please click the link in the email to verify your account. I did this on all four but two were approved and the other two rejected. I have no idea anymore ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Funny thing was last time I did over 40 of them and none were rejected.
This time I only did one and it was rejected.

Yeah. I just got on rejected as well. He said to give him an hour and he'd reverse them. Still makes me nervous.
