Took my dog to the vet today because he has a lump on his throat...he has as tumor. Have to go see a specialist and not sure it can be removed.
I liked it, but I didn't like it if you know what I mean.Took my dog to the vet today because he has a lump on his throat...he has as tumor. Have to go see a specialist and not sure it can be removed.
Aw. I'm sorry.Took my dog to the vet today because he has a lump on his throat...he has as tumor. Have to go see a specialist and not sure it can be removed.
He is only 6 I sure hope they can remove it. It's pushing on his throat so when he gets excited he just coughs and coughs. He is still eating ok so that is good. They sedated him for scans today, just horrific to see him knocked out. He started to wake up on the way home, they loaded him up on a stretcher. This sucks assI liked it, but I didn't like it if you know what I mean.

I hope it's not cancerous and they can give him some relief. For what it's worth, I have a 16 year old beagle who has had a tumor for more than half of his life on his belly. The vet was very honest and said if it's cancerous, removing it won't guarantee it's gone and could actually risk it spreading. And if it's not cancerous, and it's not in the way, it's just hard on the eyes. It's bigger than a golfball, but one of many "old man" features he has. They also said he had heart disease 5+ years ago and didn't expect him to make it another year. And yet, here he is.Took my dog to the vet today because he has a lump on his throat...he has as tumor. Look at that beautiful dog! He'll be fine I'm sure. It will be surgery and recovery and vet bills and all of that but he'll be ok.He is only 6 I sure hope they can remove it. I'm so sorry. I hope he ends up ok. I have a similar thing going on with my girl doggie, Gracie. Just came back from the vet yesterday where the vet said she thinks she might have cancer...still waiting for the results. :brokenheart:Took my dog to the vet today because he has a lump on his throat...he has as tumor. I know...thank you. I'm hoping that maybe it's going to be okay. I was kind of rudely surprised cause I just had some bumps of hers checked last month, and she was fine. So I took her in for a little infection she had, that I just thought needed antibiotics, and now this. I don't like that dogs have to go before us anyway. I'm trying to just think good thoughts.Oh no Michele! You guys this is really sad with your pets. I'm sorry for everybody having pet troubles on here right now.
