Story time. A little background info. I was attacked by a Chow when I was in my early 20s. It fractured my index finger and left me with puncture wounds on the others that took me about 6 months to recover from. Luckily, chicks dig scars.

Anyhoo, a few years later... I'm on a date with a woman, and we're walking towards the park. We see a big dog ahead, and I stop. She says to me. "They can sense fear you know."

So, the dog fucks off and we continue walking. Like a block later, she sees a spider and loses her shit. She grabs on to me and jumps 5 feet in the air.

semi-related story: my 7th grade science teacher had a classroom pet...a giant tarantula. She found out I was terrified of spiders (I had been bit by a black widow the year before and it scared me pretty badly) so she tried to force me to hold it. I got up and walked out of the classroom with her yelling at me and coming after me with the tarantula. That was the first time I ever deliberately disobeyed a teacher like that so it was a big deal
