deer or something badger like? We have groundhogs. woodchucks and the like - but the berries are still out (thankfully almost done!). So...deer? I'm not worried about them munching on what remains of the berries (they can have it). But when the tomatoes and other fruits come in - and the squash - those woodchucks really are terrible.......(they eat my squash flowers

we do not have woodchucks. I do not know the struggle. or badger. lol. but your description sounds like deer. But a lot of herbivores scat looks similar..
