I think the worst movie I've ever seen was probably Gummo. It's been so long that there's a lot that I don't remember, but iirc the main plot was something along the lines of two kids going around town killing cats that they would then trade to the owner of a Chinese restaurant for bags of glue chips that they would eat in the woods. Whoever wrote that movie was probably very familiar with glue chips themselves.

After reaching a certain threshold of badness, the quality of a film tends to inversely rise in novelty value. So the real question is, what's so mediocre and bland that watching it drunk can't even save it?

My off the cuff vote is for Bicentennial Man. It has Robin Williams as a goddamn robot, and they still managed to fuck it up.
