07/29 - Shape of Saturday!

Okay, I'm slow and probably overstate how hard things are (things can seem too hard at first but once I get going on things they're usually easier than I thought they'd be) but I've been working this last hour on figuring scripting stuff out. In addition to tampermonkey (I'm on Chrome) I've figured out that it and some other things are extensions (yeah, I'd forgot lol). I had tampermonkey turned on and Tools for Amazon's Mechanical Turk turned on, and all the other turk-related ones turned off.

I've looked at the help section here, but what I'm wondering and don't see is - Is there like a list of more current popular extensions and scripts anywhere I can browse? I know I want to install MturkSuite and get something like database working again, but I'd like to look at what else there is. Specifically anyone know a good auto refresh (for Mac Chrome)? I see I had Auto Refresh Plus but remember there were some things about it I didn't like and it's been so long I wonder if there's a newer better one now.

I don't want to just turn everything back on because I don't really know what I'm doing yet, it slows my computer down and also I'll be overwhelmed with all the changes and not know what caused what, so I'm going one at a time kind of. Gonna start with the Suite and then continue on. Might take working on it off and on for the next few weeks in between work.

Is that where it stops when you try to recalculate?

Nope... it's appears to go all the way through like normal. Then says null really quickly and everything goes to 0.

What i did when i started was just spent some time on GF going through all the latest scripts that show up from a search for "mturk".

I would recommend this also... It usually brings up all the important shit.

to

in Dashboard to fix this

I'll update dashboard. Looks like I already accidentally fixed it for MTS when I rewrote it lo since now that use uses a var to count up.

What is it that you're wanting to autorefresh? If you're wanting to refresh PANDAs, it's more effective to use PANDA Crazy or TurkMaster to have all your PANDAs refreshing in a single place versus multiple tabs running for it.

I did them earlier in the week when the AA was 1 hour.
Them changing it to 3 days....and lowering the pay makes me think they have got scammed a bit last round.

Of course that's just my rejection senses tingling.

Um, I'm not sure! I just saw it there in my extensions and remembered I used it a lot before and thought I would again. I can't remember but it seemed like I had the background refreshes going on the panda thing (hitmaster?) but then also used auto refresh on certain tabs for some other reason. I really don't know. Maybe I won't need it now. Was just trying to get my ducks lined up thinking I would use it for some reason.

You're not wrong on that rejection sense thing. I would have gone a bit easier on them if i had known that. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks; I'll look at them all! That hourly one looks especially juicy if it tells me my hourly rate; I've been curious about that since the beginning.
