Aww, it happens to all of us! My 3 year old had a really awful double ear infection last year. I didn't really think it was an ear infection because he had tubes placed the year before. I figured it was just a virus. His ears started leaking and it was awful. I felt like a shit mom. The nurse at the doctor's office told me I had to wait until Monday to take him in (it was a Saturday). Sunday night, his ears started bleeding. Both ear drums ruptured. I definitely learned to trust my instinct after that.

They did give him ear drops that really helped, though. And he got new ear tubes a few months later.

It may be from her ears, I didn't even think about that with her balance. She had soup and crackers soaked in the broth, she can barely eat due to pain. I feel soooo bad for waiting so long to take her.

i did take her to the ER on Friday night but it was a 4 hour wait and she was crying so hard to go home so we left. I should've just stayed. Good thing is she has all the meds now so hopefully she will be better in a few days.

@LoveMuppet she also had a broken arm for 3 days before we went to the hosptial when she was 8. Mom of the year!

The only thing I would be careful of is if it is a time released pill. You can't do this with time released pills.

So anyone have any suggestions for helping with vomiting on pain meds. Daughter can't seem to keep them down and I even split them in half.
