yup. and in the HIT finder it says 28 phrases, not 112. I sent an email to the requester that I hoped the pay was a mistake and that I was going to complete the HIT on faith that the requester would adjust the pay later on with a bonus or compensation HIT. Also that my review on turkopticon would reflect his integrity as a requester.

See I was thinking that when it was approved it was paid at the same time and that there was some sort of auto delay with the payment. 4 or 6 hours. Ah, I know. My naivete is so cute. You guys can tell me.

I believe the title said 28 different phrases. Some were repeated. It was still under 10 minutes and the interface is still great. My jaw just dropped when I saw the 100+ number, when last time it was only 30 phrases, one time each.

So here's a question that's been bugging me. What determines how long it takes to get paid after a HIT is approved?

I always figured it had to do amazon's payment system just taking time to get to you.
my reasoning is that if it were the whim of the requester wouldn't some of the approved hits pay out immediately, and others take way too long?
it doesn't seem to be the case - it always seems to be a few hours later, the money 'clears'

Oh your right, it's a really good interface as far as recordings go, BUT, it is still triple the work so it should be more pay.
