I like to think of it as $60 is better than $0. Or quantify it in amounts of ramen or something. Like "That's 60 ramens!"

That's not only against Amazon TOS (asking for third party information), it's remarkably unprofessional! You simply DO NOT put your underlings in that type of position...If I was such an employee asked to take such a survey(not in line with my job), I'd refuse. I can't imagine anyone who would want to take a survey for an unknown party about his boss. And the boss knows about it, too? Oh yeah, good way to lose a job. Requesters can be so self-centered.

I did the screener for this HIT a while back. I contacted them told them exactly what you just said. At that time they wanted a list of email addresses for your subordinates. It sounds like they changed that much.
