you have to get a trap which i think can range in price from not so expensive to expensive but a cheap one will usually do. and then trap them if your area permits that for TNR and then if they are feral, though now they are called community cats, but there is usually a steep discount to get them done, first shots, rabies is usually included I think and discounts on flea treatments i had one female that took a year and a half to catch and she kept having litters and i kept doing them and then finally got her.
my local humane society loans you a trap and you have to trap them, take them to the humane society to be fixed, then take the cat back and release it. neighbor could never trap more than those 2 for some reason, she tried for months.

I hate when surveys ask me how much I would spend on something.
I'm cheap. I'm going to skew the results with my cheapness.
I have this worry about how I answer every single survey. I'm never moved by the videos, stories they expect us to be moved by and usually just super annoyed at having to watch them. I give the driest sardonic answers when questions require a certain number of characters but I can give my full answer in less or they are redundant and repetitive in nature, and my answer for much of those "how much would I spend" is usually zero because no, I would not buy your weird frozen healthy meal even for a damn nickel. Lots of times I finish these things up and wonder "Am I a sociopath or are these people the wackos?"
