Man, I was thinking about taking classes again b/c I'ma failure of a human being...
now I'm scared it'll just cost me. o.0

I dropped out when my mom died. Now I'm not going back. I just figure I'm going to do my best working as little as possible and live a simple life. Figure out if your priorities need you to go and get a higher education.

$97 to rent one from Amazon...$200 to buy. come on man...does it look like i can afford that crap.

Captive audience (college students whose professors require them to have the book)+ size of audience= prices way out of range for what they offer. Check your college's bookstore and see if they sell used copies, sometimes you can find them for half price for broadly required classes.

I live about 25-30 mins north of Houston in a first story apt at the moment. I'm honestly not sure if I'm safe this weekend. all the projections look pretty bad.

Houston has been pretty lucky the last several years with hurricanes, but Harvey looks like he's mean and doesn't care

maybe the projections will change but I don't know eh.
