after an hour of setting up all my scripts/browsers/sites

I think I've earned a crying break
There's a nice trick I found for people who turk every day and have to keep setting all their tabs up. Pin all your daily tabs in chrome and then when you open back up the browser you can go to history and it'll give you the option to restore them all as long as you don't navigate to another page first. Maybe everyone already knows this... but maybe it'll help someone.

The baby fell in to me last night with her hand stretched out and put all 30 pounds of her weight in to my right eye.
It's all damaged and bloody and I feel like a James Bond villain today.

When I first started in May 2016, I was able to make at least $20 from things like Zoltar, YTA, and Pinterest. Later, we had that huge batch of 2 cent A9s and Customer Interests used to have large batches. I haven't even seen 5s (I know they have changed their name to something else but I haven't seen their large batch of hits that they used to drop). Universities even had more surveys in the summertime than recently.

What is going on? Maybe it has something to do with Amazon increasing fees for requesters. Or maybe, the platform is dying. I'm not sure but it doesn't feel optimistic moving forward.
Lots of the easy batch cash has disappeared, Sergey isn't dropping huge batches, Mad Labs is gone, haven't see a YTA in forever just feels like the easy batch requesters took off, I use to work John Smiths all the time..

well this isn't true.

I've always said that mturk is muuuuuch better if your irl job is one of those minimum wage customer service jobs, like mcdonnalds, or walmart or something.

but other than that, yes an actual job would be much better. lol
I'd rather work at walmart currently because

insurance
regular, reliable, pay check. The only way I'm missing days is if I call in sick, there aren't slow days where walmart doesn't show up for work.
I don't have to remember to save for taxes.

But it's probably not as irritating for people that
have more discipline than I do. (This was easier a few years ago, I barely had to work to get the $40 or $50 a day. It feels more like work now)
don't currently need insurance
aren't slowly going crazy because they only time they go out is to get groceries and their only social interaction is the forum and that's probably not healthy.

anyway I got distracted

Yeah, I do this as well. Only I don't have to do the history deal, the pinned tabs just reopen when I load the browser. Works in Firefox too.

wait are you talking fulltime? my bad I was talking about part time.

When I started on mturk I was a part time worker at winn dixie and thats it.

I didn't have a reliable check at all.

They would randomly cut hours. and sometimes just tell me not to come in if it was too slow. shit wasn't fun.

mturk has been up and down, but reliable as fuck compared to a part time job.

...so to fully clarify what I meant, mturk is better than a low wage Part time job where everyone is scraping for hours and bosses randomly send you home.
