Description: The purpose of this research study is to understand consumers’ feelings in a fictitious book reading club. We will be surveying adults living in the United States to complete an (approximately 3 to 4 minutes) study about online reading groups. Specifically, you will be randomly assigned to imagine participating in an online reading group with some friends either using your own book or using a book accessed through a book-sharing program. After imagining this hypothetical scenario, you will be asked about your feelings in this online reading group. We will also ask a few questions about yourself along the way. Demographic questions (e.g., household income, age) will be asked. If you do NOT like reading books, we strongly recommend that you do NOT take this survey. You must be 18 years or older to participate and will receive $0.60 as compensation. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw from this project at any time. Please read the following notes carefully before you continue: We value your contribution A LOT! Attention checks were embedded.
