That's pretty close to how I ended up turking... just change "midlife crisis" for "near terminal illness" that led to a realization and the chasing of a passion. I've cut way back on the turking in the last 2 years... but I haven't quit yet because the biz isn't 100% yet... will probably take about 5 years to mature and even out some.
