Biggest difference maker for me is going sober.....I drank up about a grand a month so for 11 months now I have been able to actually save money even though some months I made less than I did the year before during those months.

Thank you I looked at FB to find out when I actually quit because I couldn't remember exactly. I knew it was getting close to a year...Oct 14 will be a year. I didn't really keep track at first because the first few days and weeks I really didn't think it would last haha.

Thank you Yeah it is pretty yuuuge and especially for me, I drank a good 23+ years straight. Insane the amount of $ I think I got addicted to being sober and just kept going with it lol. Now I can't even imagine myself having a drink at all, pretty awesome feeling. Something had to give drink to death or stop and get my shit together....glad I chose the latter.
