You need a better book.

I just re-checked. Down to -770 at my book. Yours is still better.

That's a lot of juice to lay and I'm not confident Nadal covers the -6 1/2 to -7 game spread. That's a lot to cover against a large server who is clicking right now. Who knows how Anderson deals with this giant stage though. He could absolutely crumble

checked all the weekly earnings reports posted so far. all I need is for everyone to have babies, be in multiple hurricanes and fires, every week, then I will always be a top earner. :D

While I agree that there's a lot that needs to be fixed when it comes to first responders and aid distribution in general, imagine not having the red cross shelters and response for disaster events. Who would and could step up with that much of a coordinated effort, manpower, and infrastructure to support the military and FEMA efforts during recovery?
and beyond that the ARC is there for people all year long and big events like Harvey and Irma help fund those efforts as well. When you see on your news that a 10 second blurb that a tornado touched down briefly you don't get the overwhelming urge to donate but the smaller handful of people who lost their homes need help just as much as the 10s of thousands from a disaster event.

I remember when my little rural town was crushed by a tornado many years back (luckily our house was saved), but a mile down the road buildings were flattened. I don't remember if it was the Salvation Army or the Red Cross, but they provided food for us at the local elementary school. Luckily we didn't need shelter but all our food spoiled because of no power for about 2 days.

I still remember the story my x's uncle told that I think I've related before. At the Battle of the Bulge the red cross charged the soldiers for their coffee and food.
That was confirmed on Snopes

Exactly. And I don't want to sound like I am beating the drum for ARC because the Salvation Army and others like them also are out there very day every year. Big events like Harvey are what feed little events like yours.
