I'm thinking of opening the work thread in a few weeks and I wonder how to do it if I am selected. Do you simply cut and paste the normal daily information that is at the top of the post and then notify someone to close the previous day's one or how does it work to make sure you get that daily info in there with the proper rainbow-colored links?

Yeah, you just make your thread around midnight PT and include the welcome stuff (the code can be copied from this thread) and whatever else you like. Either jklmnop or myself are always around at day change, so we know to look out for it. Also, on whatever day that you would like to make the thread, just make sure you tag @dibs so we know that you're making it.

Ha, I do okay with updates and restarts, but I've learned to not give any time estimates when I'm doing anything else. Back when we were migrating servers/upgrading the forum, I felt like every single post I was making began with an apology.
