This was a response to a message I sent about a hit I submitted, then wasn't sure if I had done it the way that she wanting it done. For the Food Service Product List Coding hits.I don't know what this was from but is she trying to send a message to workers? http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechTurk/latest/AWSMturkAPI/ApiReference_NotifyWorkersOperation.html
Sounds like a theme for today...This isn't really worth it

I'm sorry, was this link showing a better way to go about doing what she was wanting to do? instead of rejecting with a note then reversing it? I'm getting a headache lolI don't know what this was from but is she trying to send a message to workers? http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSMechTurk/latest/AWSMturkAPI/ApiReference_NotifyWorkersOperation.html

I missed the whole reason why she needed/wanted to reject. To send a message using the method I linked, she'd have to either approve or reject the HITs first, and then use that method to send a message to workers via email. It doesn't work if the HITs are still pending.I'm sorry, was this link showing a better way to go about doing what she was wanting to do? instead of rejecting with a note then reversing it? I'm getting a headache lol
Yup, true, Shes planning to reject with a message than reverse it. Which hopefully is covered in her notes. She did give pretty lengthy instructions, but I imagine, esp being new here, it would be hard to predict what questions will come up and arent going to be clear until people start working on things. So at least she's trying to be fair. I wish more were like her.that's a huge problem in a nutshell, imagine if your working fast food and you mess up a couple burgers, you don't get money taking out of your hourly wage. Here if you mess up but was honestly doing your best with shitty instructions, and got rejected you worked for free.
I think most requesters start out nice and happy. Thinking MTurk can be a win win situation. Then they start getting emails about people threatening to burn down their house because of a rejection and they start getting jaded.Yup, true, Shes planning to reject with a message than reverse it.
