I think most requesters start out nice and happy. Thinking MTurk can be a win win situation. Then they start getting emails about people threatening to burn down their house because of a rejection and they start getting jaded.
MTurk takes their happiness piece by piece until they are worn down as we are.

I took the rest of today off from my desk job and have been home frantically cleaning my tiny 2/1 house so it's ready when my daughter and five of her university friends show up tomorrow night. I thought my house was clean until I looked at it as if I didn't live here. NOT CLEAN!

The bathroom is done, towels are being washed, now on to the living room. Thank goodness I cleaned the kitchen fairly well the other night.

Now to figure out what food to provide for five Uni students.

Having worked on both sides of the fence, I can say without a single shred of hesitation that the worker community is far far worse than the requester community. More liars per capita, more scammers per capita, more hyperbolic assholes per capita, and more incompetent fools (who are so incompetent they aren't even capable of recognizing that fact about themselves) per capita.
