Does anyone know of a way to get real time desktop notifications for new posts in these threads with a preview of the post contents? Perhaps there's a chrome extension, but I haven't had any luck, and getting alerts from watching threads doesn't seem to be real time (nor does it update for new posts 100% of the time).
I have one monitor, and I'd like to be able to have hitscraper and my mturk hits side by side, but also keep up to date with posts on here without sacrificing screen space. The hitnotifier.com site kinda does what I want, but I recall it missing some hits that were posted here, and I like watching everyone banter. ;P

I don't think there's an addon/extension/script that does all of that.
There's live update (donation perk) and things will show up as they are posted, but it won't give you a little pop-up.
There's also the new hit sound/notify, (also donation perk) but I've never tried that >,> so I don't know how it works.

I feared as much. Perhaps adding these threads to an RSS feed might work, but I'm not sure how often RSS feeds update, or if it would vary.
