How do you find and qualify for closed Quals? I have been doing this for a couple of years and occasionally get invited to HITs via email but not very often.

As a lurker, I would like to thank everyone for their contributions.

HITs will often say they're qualifications in the title or the description. Just adding the word "qual" or "qualification" to your include list in HIT Finder/Forker/whatever can help you spot quite a bit of stuff. For everything else you just have to keep your eyes open. A lot of good quals come from qual batches. Inspect every batch you come across to see if it looks like it might be a qual batch. If a batch posts and you don't qualify, check if it has a qual test on it. I feel like 95% of this work is just being attentive and available at all times.

I just set my weekly goal which is 400 instead of a daily goal. I feel like I get titled and want to just go do something else when its slow and I am no where near my daily goal.

I'm probably in a completely different boat here, but finding work on this platform hasn't been the biggest issue for me lately, it's finding the motivation to keep turking. The work just feels so empty and meaningless no matter how much it pays. Taking breaks from turking barely even helps anymore. I keep telling myself to move on and have taken steps to do so, but it sure does suck to have to drop everything to work on a batch when I hate working on this platform.

been doing this consistently for 2.5 years almost.

That's another good thing to note. I work full time, I do this whenever I can to make some extra money. I wanted to get a part time (like shopping for people or food delivery) but I have a 2 year old so Mturk is my part time job.
