When I set up a requester search on PC, can I still use the ham function?

ok so...what the heck. Not gonna panic. I have no clue what possible reason there would be but what happens if they suddenly decide to block you? would i get an email? anything? i can sign in to my amazon account with same info fine, but mturk just won't show me as signed in.

If you get blocked, you just won't be able to work for that requester. Sometimes you get an email, sometimes you don't.
If you get too many blocks (no one knows exactly how many) your account may be suspended. Then you wouldn't be able to sign into MTurk.

Is anything happening when you try to enter your login info? Does the page just sit there as usual and act like you've done absolutely nothing, or are you getting an error message like "Incorrect email or password. Please try again"?

Just out of curiosity....why are you throwing it back?

they are generally long and repetitive tasks so they might not be for everybody and even though the pay is high don't let it blind you to the fact that there is a lot of work with a relatively short timer

i finished one in 4:45 when it had a 5 hour timer the other day... non stop copy/pasting and navigating a website for information that entire time

Ok sorry I'm good now, that freaked me out. Somehow using a script that was too long for my hit length, I ended up blocking the mturk and amazon cookies. I'm suddenly feeling way to dependent on mturk

Yeah, I was going to suggest temporarily disabling tampermonkey or greasemonkey to see if that fixed it for you. Scripts can interfere with various things sometimes. Glad you got it figured out, though.

Went out to eat, and visited my grandparents new home (their previous one burned down back in May). While there, I get asked by them to set up their printer. They've went all out with their insurance money and bought the best of the best. These folks are in their late 80s and have an Alienware desktop and laptop. I get all that fun shit set up for them and as I'm about to leave they tell me they have a 'junk' laptop that wouldn't connect with their printer so they just stored it, and said I could have it. Said junk laptop is a brand new HP convertible laptop with damn respectable specs, and they only used it for 30 minutes. I got a $750 laptop for spending 10 minutes setting up their printer. I win.

Tried it, doesn't work. You just change it to a letter right? Nothing has to be added? The enter key works.

I reset my script to see if I had done anything major, i guess i did because it doesn't work now, and im not messing with scripts anymore today haha there must have been some change to the hit from how it was originally.
