Oh no I understand, and screw them for giving it to the wrong person. I often find my packages thrown in front of my NEIGHBORS door, which pisses me off endlessly. The other day the PO SHOVED a package into our mail box (communal thing with key entry for each little cubby) and it took me a half hour to open it, and you better believe I gave them a real earful about it.I would have agreed, except my neighbor said he received it yesterday and just thought it was one of his packages he was accepting. Of course, I didn't ask him what time he got it, but since I got the text in the evening I am assuming deliveries were about over for the day.
BUT if it does happen again, don't freak out right away b/c it is super duper common to have the package issue where they just mark it delivered.
