I would have agreed, except my neighbor said he received it yesterday and just thought it was one of his packages he was accepting. Of course, I didn't ask him what time he got it, but since I got the text in the evening I am assuming deliveries were about over for the day.

Oh no I understand, and screw them for giving it to the wrong person. I often find my packages thrown in front of my NEIGHBORS door, which pisses me off endlessly. The other day the PO SHOVED a package into our mail box (communal thing with key entry for each little cubby) and it took me a half hour to open it, and you better believe I gave them a real earful about it.

BUT if it does happen again, don't freak out right away b/c it is super duper common to have the package issue where they just mark it delivered.

No, but I don't put any work into the shop anymore. It used to be pretty okay, but now I get maybe one sale a month. Mostly it supports my Goodwill habit and allows me to spread the love of older super durable kitchenware (Pfaltzgraff, Pyrex, etc) BUT some people make an absolute killing on it.

I can't say I'm surprised if its that common, but I'm going to assume it wouldn't be if Amazon didn't have a reputation for always siding with the buyer.

But, I LIKE freaking out
Once I got a package delivered to me for a house on a road on the other side of town. The name, zip code, actual address numbers, and road were all different. It was near Christmas so I drove over and hand delivered it. I even saw the USPS person bringing it up to my door, but they were gone by the time I got to it.

They approved all of my hits at the end of the batch, right before they posted the next batch up. Cap seems to be 1000 for now.
