Exactly. Obviously, they should *start* with the big forums. Then eventually move to a site-wide format. I'd actually prefer them starting with the forums because we're essentially the "power users," or "power workers." We're not the authority, but we have experience that others might not.

I'm not sure that perspective of the forums is accurate, but communicating directly with forums of workers is a very good idea. They could also do things like actually answer emails, have a feedback button that actually works and reaches real people etc and so on. What I don't want is a small handful of unofficial unelected people serving as a voice for the population of workers at large in ways that have no transparency, accountability, or permanent record.
