SUPER SLOW! The 5-7 days referred to is for the bank to recognize the transfer and get it to your account. Mine processes transfers within a few hours of receipt.
I understand the process and where the delays are. I also know that Payments only does 4 ACH batch uploads during the day. I have the times written down somewhere. But, anyway, regardless of what the delay usually is(the bank) if a withdrawal took too long, the first thing that Amazon is going to quote is, "It can take 5-7 business days." Then they'll say, "It usually doesn't but,
it can." That's all I'm saying is they put it on their site so they can fall back on it.
I give them 24 hours before I feel like it's "too long" but, as I said, just my opinion. Because if I miss a batch by a few minutes, then they have a delayed batch, which happens pretty frequently, I know that that means I'm waiting around 18 hours. It does suck but, it's better than a lot of other payment systems.
I usually transfre out of AMT at around 6 or 7 pm. It hits Payments between 1:30 and 5am. I withdraw it immediately and it goes in the 8amEST batch. It will be available in my account between 12:40 and 1pm. So, from Mturk, it takes around 20 hours, for me. But, I've had it take much longer so, I'm a bit used to it, I guess.
