I was watching a documentary and they showed how hermit crabs, when a new shell washes onshore, will form a line from biggest to smallest and switch each other's shells for a roomier one. And this one hermit crab was so small he had to go all the way to the back of the line and he got the crappiest shell, which even had a hole in it.
