I think it also has to do with what your career is and how much training you have. I wanted to be a graphic designer, but I suck at graphic design (at least thats what the 1000 potential employers have told me)

I've failed at every career goal I've ever had except mturk/user testing. and I don't even think those count because I never "set out" to do them, I just kind of stumbled upon them.

They still count. Lots of people end up succeeding at something they never even thought about doing. Sometimes you fall into something and do well at it. You should still be proud.
