He's seriously fucking adorable. I'm so glad SIL convinced MIL to take him. (I still think she lied about how she was going to have to throw him outside because she knew MIL would take him.)

A lot of my classes were that way too. By the time I was in high-school I just phoned it in because I felt like that was what they were doing too.

My middle school experience in a nutshell...

My math teacher that year tried to fail me because I didn't do my homework at home (I'd get it done in the few minutes before we went home, or in the morning when I arrived at school again. She'd pull it out and mark it zero immediately if she knew I had done so), and she would do 1 minute speed-tests for multiplication and division and demand we show our work every morning, then get upset if we wrote on the page instead of a separate sheet of paper.
I showed up one day wearing a calculator watch my grandma gave me when I was like 4 (cause previously, I liked math). She immediately marked my test zero when I handed it in (and she saw the watch) and sent me to the principal after attempting to embarrass me in front of the class, accusing me of cheating and "making an example of me".

Got to the principal's office, not my first time there, not the first BS reason either, so he just asks "So, what're you in for, today?"
I explain and show him the watch. I'm smiling smugly, trying not to laugh. He gets the idea...
Him: "*chuckles* It doesn't have batteries in it, does it?"

Me: "Hasn't worked in YEARS. The screen won't even turn on with a fresh battery."

Him: "*chuckling harder* You want me to tell her, or would you prefer to have her up here, so you can explain it to her?"

Me: "Your choice."

I'm liberal in a VERY conservative community. I hid most of the ugly posts from both sides in hope to make it easier on me. Has worked wonders. Idk why people can't be nice.

My little town went crazy during elections for SHERIFF and both guys were Republican. Tearing both of them down if they weren't for him. It was nuts.

I deleted my facebook a while back, life goes on fine without it.
