If the hit said "location is US", why are you completing it when you are in Moldavia? I don't think you should be completing surveys like this if you're not meeting a requester's requirements.

Because "location is US" does not necessarily mean that I can't currently be in a different country. I assert it to mean that I'm from the US while traveling abroad, which would make more sense. I mean someone who doesn't actually live in America couldn't be part of the qualification. Since they don't make these things clear enough, I'll just assume that I'm doing nothing wrong. Some surveys say "Location US-CA" and I've lived there for 15 years, so it works. I've yet to come across such a survey that does not pertain to my situation. For example: I won't do surveys that require me to be from a different country.

I do respectfully disagree. The hit you say you completed, had this in the description:

I don't want to derail the thread or anything, but just want to be clear that on this forum we don't condone violating mturk's rules. It's in our member guidelines page. If the survey has the requirement of being located in US, then you should be in the US.
