Y'all 'real eggnog' drinkers are aware that the real deal is made of whipped egg whites and egg yokes, with milk, sugar and such--and alcohol. Let me rephrase--the real thing is made of raw eggs. The kind you're not supposed to eat. But, I guess if you add enough booze, it'd kill any unpleasantness found in the raw eggs. Maybe....course we could just forego the eggs and all and just drink the booze. Not saying that would be healthier, it'd just be simpler.
