that's where the sega mini excels far past the nintendo mini. Sega knows there were good games so they put those in already, but they know the playerbase wants to play more than the x number of games included so they added in an SD card. Not to mention you can play old sega carts on the sega mini.I don't know that much about the early nintendos, didn't really start playing until 64, but how many of those games would you want anyway? For hubby, I think (hope?) he'd just enjoy playing some of his fave games from his childhood.
