I'm not going to resell it; it's a birthday present for my husband. I guess for him there's the nostalgia component. I know you could just use emulators and stuff but it wouldn't really "feel" the same.

30 games, but the price of the actual carts right now is kinda high , like you will probably spend over 60 now for contra, mario 3 and zelda if you just wanted those 3 carts

Those collectors have some amazing collections, makes me jealous. I just fell in love with save states too much to go that route. Funny enough, I have one Super Nintendo game, when I was gonna start collecting and it's just collecting dust, lol.

I don't know that much about the early nintendos, didn't really start playing until 64, but how many of those games would you want anyway? For hubby, I think (hope?) he'd just enjoy playing some of his fave games from his childhood.

Wow, it's getting bad then. I used to be on nintendoage forum all the time. Seems like those wanting to collect are growing and inventory is shrinking. Doesn't help that some hoarders get like a ton of the same game when they can find it & don't leave any for anybody else.
