Firefox is doing a major update next week, so if you have any addons that you absolutely need (including script managers for mturk, though I think the 3 major ones are already updated) you will want to check to see if they have been converted to web extension format because otherwise they won't work after you upgrade. And if they are not compatible and you absolutely need them, I think there are some alternatives like ESR release for Firefox but I haven't looked into it a lot. Probably good to do all the research and everything today while it's slow though.

Those look awesome! Those weren't out when the son was a baby, I wish they were! I did use a hospital grade breathing/heart rate monitor attached to a chest strap with wires that I rented from a medical supply place. I have pics of him holding up his wires (when he was unplugged but the chest strap was still on) staring at them like, "wtf? I have wires?"

That monitor is the only reason I slept for the first 7 months of his life. My pediatrician tried to get insurance to cover it due to my daughter, but they refused so I had to pay $274 a month for it. If Owlet had been out I could have saved a bundle!!!!

And no wires. I was worried it wouldn't do a good job, but I check on it all the time and it does great. An app on my phone shows her heart rate and oxygen levels, and an alarm goes off if they dip or rise too much. We've had one false alarm, and it was because I was burping her. My patting her on the back was sensed as additional heart beats and it immediately told me her heart rate was too high. It's awesome.

Just an FYI- We had 3 separate Owlets spontaneously fail. The manufacturer did send replacements for free, but we eventually got fed up and stopped using them. Two of the socks simply stopped charging after a few weeks. Another one refused to sync with any device that we tried.

Owlets are a good concept but our experience with them was pretty frustrating. We ended up reverting to the lower-tech Snuza that we had purchased several years prior after our first was born.

That sucks :/ For $300 they should last as long as they are usable (the socks going up to freakin toddler size). We've been using this one for two months without issue so far. The only problem I've seen is sometimes the app disconnects from the base station, but as far as I know it keeps reading at the station when that happens. Hopefully it won't stop working

It is kinda nifty. I, too, started to use it more regularly, but I'm wondering how many different "searches" can be fit in there.

Just checked mine. I'm running 60. It does slightly slow down my pandas on panda crazy but otherwise does it's job well.
