It's come to a screeching halt for me now. But almost $6 in a quick flurry is good.
I don't do Zoltars. Perhaps I should. Did a few one time and just "meh." But I could see where collecting 50 of them would be a lot more fun for the wallet.

They're not good money for me but they're one of the few HITs that I actually really enjoy doing. I learn a lot and see lots of interesting websites. Sometimes REALLY strange stuff that I'm afraid to share here!

I feel like these are good numbers but my internet is always acting wonky. But I don't know nothin' about nothin'

The way to think about it is that the Download speed important for downloading large files, like entire movies or entire computer games. However, Ping is the key value for us. Ping is how quickly your computer says 'Hello' to Amazon MTurk servers and how quickly MTurk replies back by saying "Shut-up and get back to work, peasant!"

I see a lot of interesting things. Once I got sucked into a site that literally sold guides, cd's, etc etc to men for tricking attractive women into having sex with you, and how to get rid of them afterwards.

Higher ping is better?

You want it to be as low as possible. Wired is really the only way to achieve a 0-5ms ping.

@katarina if the ping you're getting is from a wired connection.. i'd say you have an issue worthy of calling Spectrum about lol

Higher ping is better?

Lower is better. Ping is reported in milliseconds (1/1000th of a second) so if ping is 8 mSecs then AMT replies quickly. If it takes 8000 mSecs then AMT is sloooooow to reply.
