it's snowing!!!

I just got back and saw some chunks of snow in the road (from people who were driving before clearing off their cars. They were clearly from up 'North' of us.

It's super warm for us here! A balmy 44 degrees. I haven't even turned on the heat much at all (just a few degrees in the morning). I was thinking of buying a snowblower this year, but I keep waiting on those robots. (Please! I want a snow robot~). They are still in prototype - but as soon as they are on the market

so getting ready for football and an afternoon of cooking/baking. Got a boatload of overripe bananas from Kroger yesterday for 99c...anyone have a goto banana bread recipe? Maybe one with chocolate chips? Have found some on internet, but rather get one from someone I know.
Also on tap - stock, stock and more stock. Have a bunch of beef bones need to be gone (so says my gf). Chicken soup. Maybe peanut brittle? Spicy pork chops with Vietnamese tomato sauce.

Here's the recipe I use, it's an old betty crocker recipe..

2 1/4 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1/3 c milk
1 egg
1 1/4 c mashed bananas
1 c nuts (walnut usually)

Mash the super ripe bananas on a plate with a fork and sprinkle cinnamon onto them, let sit for like thirty minutes. Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of loaf pan. Mix all ingredients, beat 30 seconds. Pour into pans. Bake until inserted toothpick comes out clean, 65-75 minutes.
